I tried the steps in x and it works but when I switch backs to my 'normal' resolution x the game goes back to fullscreen.
I can't seem to make it work. The game tells me to change my resolution to something higher than x when I, obviously, have already done so. The game changes the reolution itself and if I alt tab, it resets to whatever my desktop resoltion is. I can not start the game when you attempt to launch Put it Failed to find Steam.

Choose a big city to start at. The more resources you have at the beginning, the more money you will start earning. Build stations that take in most or all of the city. Make sure bellow the city name it says "connected" or else the city won't demand as many objects and will pay less for them. Connect your stations with rail. The reason is obvious, hence the name " Railroad Tycoon 2". Buy a train or two to run between the stations. Two trains will transport cargoes faster however maintenance bills will attack you quicker.
Run your train s between the two cities. After you get some money you can expand even further. Include your email address to get a message when this question is answered.
Make your trains not expensive and preferably steam or diesel at the beginning. Electric rail is expensive. Helpful 0 Not Helpful 0. You can take out a loan to help you get started but remember that you will have to pay the loan back. It's okay to use single lane rail at the beginning if you plan to buy only one train.
