List of all fps games for pc 2011

A First Person Shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world with mutants to kill? But with racing elements similar to that of Burnout and MotorStorm, and role playing and sandbox elements thrown into the mix? Perfect, especially considering the fact that id Software are handling this game. While we do not know a whole lot of stuff about this game, we definitely cannot wait to get our hands on it.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2- Vietnam were just plain awesome, so there is no reason for one to believe Battlefield 3 will not be so.

But we know practically nothing about this game yet. All we know is that it will be developed using the Frostbite 2. But we know one thing for sure- BF3 will be awesome as hell.

And that is all we know about it. The top PC games should be just as compelling with their gameplay, world-building, and story, as they are with their graphics. It may have taken 16 years since the original Psychonauts game to get a proper sequel, but it was worth the wait. In Psychonauts 2, you play as Raz, a young Psychonaut trainee, who has to enter the minds of various characters to uncover some nefarious ongoings.

Each mind acts as its own world with a different look and feel, making for a constantly changing experience. And, the story, as well as the visuals, may be whimsical and lighthearted but it's engrossing as well. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is aging like fine wine. It might just be one of the best video games of all time. And, though it has two decades of history behind it, the newest entry, Halo Infinite, is not a lazy attempt to cash in on a beloved name.

Instead, it delivers the kind of sublime FPS experience you would want out of a Halo game, complete with the return of Master Chief.

Ultra-violence and constant motion meet in this post-apocalyptic dystopian game. The game is set in Dharma Tower, a sort-of last refuge for humanity, where you ascend the tower through platforming and katana-induced carnage to take revenge on a ruthless ruler.

You do so by slicing up your enemies, dodging bullets, and using a number of unique abilities to continue making your way to the top. This is the kind of game that will leave you out of breath just playing it. Supergiant Games has made a name for itself thanks to the great reception that Pyre, Transistor, and, most recently, Bastion has received. This roguelike dungeon crawler has a few new features up its sleeve.

This leads to a sense of progression that makes for a very addictive game. The creative team at Remedy Entertainment made sure to pack this title with plenty to love, paying very close attention to the intricate details.

A deeply cinematic game, this action-adventure offers its players staggering visuals, inspired environment design and brilliant performances — not to mention, a deeply satisfying combat experience. Control places you in the capable shoes of fiery-haired Jesse Faden. If you ever wondered what Groundhog Day would look like in-game form, wonder no more. Deathloop , from the makers of the Dishonored series, gives the first-person shooter a fun little twist with some added strategy.

And, to break the loop, you have to kill eight targets before the day ends; otherwise, you start over. It features hugely customisable characters and weapons, classes that can be switched at any time, and objective-based gameplay that favours strategy and cooperation over pure aggression. Mixing a globe-trotting offline campaign with a player multiplayer mode, Conduit 2 will introduce character classes, suit upgrades and customisable weapons.

The studio who almost single-handedly invented the first-person shooter genre, id, has been working on its new property, Rage , for about four years. However it turns out, Call Of Duty is the shooter that all other developers will be looking to beat — and thus far, many have tried, but none has succeeded.

STALKER 2 was never to be, but most of its former developers are keeping the dream alive with Survarium, though a free-to-play arena shooter is hardly the form you'd want a spiritual successor to take. Fortunately, the maps they've shown so far are laden with the dilapidated beauty of STALKER's irradiated wasteland, and Vostok eventually want to turn Survarium into something much bigger and more emergent, with a co-op mode that riffs on DayZ.

The prospect of a person server set in a STALKER-esque zone built in a modern engine is worth getting excited about, even if it has to start life as a relatively restricted competitive shooter first.

Alpha sign-ups are available if you want to get in early. Paranautical Activity is a fast paced roguelike FPS. At first glance it looks like a blocky version of Doom, but the use of three dimensional space reminds us more of Quake 3. More importantly levels are procedurally generated for short, frenetic gunfights. Developers Code Avarice had a pretty rough time earlier this year when they signed up with a publisher in order to bypass Steam Greenlight, only to be told that they would still have to go through the process.

Thankfully they eventually succeeded and are now in early access. Link: Rainbow 6 site. Domestic terrorism on American soil is a fairly brave subject to cover when it comes to mainstream videogames and probably requires delicate handling. Perhaps that's why so many of the development team have jumped ship following the rather cold reaction to its early trailers. It may have undergone a total overhaul - as do so many of Ubisoft's big budget releases.

We can probably still expect rappelling out of buildings, vision modes and co-operative door breaching to make an appearance, but as to the game's structure, little is known. Alas, there's little reason to hope it will ditch the cinematic action nonsense of latterday Clancy games for the series' origins as a supremely tactical squad shooter.

We can but hope that Rainbow Six will one day re-emerge, but don't expect it anytime soon. Link: Human Head site. Early previews of this game showed a tremendously appealing vertical slice of sci-fi opening world shooting, with the player taking on the role of a human air marshal accidentally transported to an alien planet during the events of the first game. Here he becomes a bounty hunter, clambering and diving all over the Blade Runner inspired cityscape with some rather tasty firstperson parkour tricks, and no small amount of gadgetry.
